When 1kg of plastic (polypropylene) is incinerated, 3.1 kg of CO2 is emitted. In doing our part to preserve the environment, Yamato Scientific incorporates the ‘3 Rs' (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle) in the life of our ion-exchange resin cartridges used in our water purifiers, in Japan. 

How each component of the cartridges are recycled and reused to cut down on waste, is illustrated below:

Remarks:
This recycle service for ion-exchange resin is currently only available at our Yamato Scientific Minami Alps factory in Japan. We are looking for a company who can collaborate with us overseas to be able to provide this regeneration system.
